St. Patrick’s Featured in Plain Dealer Article
St. Patrick’s “Laying Claim to the Light” program was featured in an article in the Cleveland Plain Dealer on March 10, 2013. Laying Claim to the Light is a program whose goal is to help young people find their spiritual voice through music and songwriting. The article details the inspiration for the program, where it is now, and where it is heading.
In hindsight, Lisa O’Rear-Lassen realized that two life paths she was traveling on her journey to the ministry several years ago were, in fact, parallel. And, eventually, those paths would intersect at the Brunswick Library.
But that was all after O’Rear-Lassen made a serendipitous stop at a funky club on a dark stretch of Superior Avenue in Cleveland specializing in Cajun cuisine, colorful clientele and rock ’n roll.
St. Patrick’s Day Dinner
Join us for a traditional St. Patrick’s Day meal of corned beef and cabbage, as we celebrate our patron saint on March 17th.
Two seatings are available – 12:30pm to 2pm, and 3pm to 6pm
All are welcome – pay as you can.
